The CPCC Foundation was established in 1965 as 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. The Foundation’s mission is to secure financial support for the College from corporations and businesses, charitable foundations, organizations, alumni, and other individuals. Dollars raised by the Foundation are utilized for scholarships, instructional and job-training programs, equipment, faculty support and more. The Foundation also provides funding which allows the College to respond to emerging community needs and address shortfalls in public support.

The Foundation is dedicated to sustaining the College’s commitment to: advancing life-long educational development: strengthening the economic, social, and cultural fabric of Charlotte-Mecklenburg; and to becoming the nation’s leader in workforce development.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of community leaders.
