German Immersion, summer 2009 will be in Düsseldorf, Germany!

Our program offers a superb opportunity to learn or improve your German and enjoy a life changing experience in another culture. 

You will live with a German host family in the city of Düsseldorf, which is at its best in the Summer. Düsseldorf is a multicultural city situated on the Rhine and surrounded by nature. The "Old City" of Dusseldorf has numerous street cafes, beautiful and spacious parks, modern office buildings and exclusive shops.

There are other cities nearby you might want to experience such as
Cologne, Bonn, Amsterdam and Brussels.  Weekend trips and day-long field trips are offered.  Charlotte's Sister City, Krefeld, is only 30 minutes away.  The Krefeld "Flax Market" takes place your first weekend before classes begin.  You will be hosted by our Sister City of Krefeld.  www.flachsmarkt.de

The <<Institut für Kommunikation Internationale>> of the Heinrich Heine University offers an excellent immersion program of  4hours of German per day (M-F) by experienced native instructors. This course will include pre-departure and onsite meetings with and guidance from your CPCC instructor. For the one month program you can receive up to 7 credits (one semester of German language and Cultural Immersion).
