PTK wins ten regional awards

Phi Lambda, CPCC’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa returned from their end of year regional event March 16-18 with the following 10 awards:

--Five-Star Program Award
--Excellence Award in 4 Clover Challenge “Keeping America Green”
--Service Hallmark Award
--Communications 2007 Award
--Best Website 2007 Award
--Bruce R. Rallis Regional Service Award – Honorable Mention

2007 Hall of Honor Awards:
--Keisha Wannamaker, Chapter Executive Vice President
--Matt Long, Outstanding member

--Mark Helms, Associate Dean of Student Life and service-Learning received the Distinguished Administrator Award for his help and support of the Phi Lambda Chapter.

--Evelyn Sikes, a charter member of the newly formed Phi Lambda Alumni Association, was inducted into the Carolina Regional Alumni Association Chapter.
