We are glad that you are now a member of the CPCC community of learners. Part-time faculty provide an invaluable service to Central Piedmont Community College. To support your classroom teaching, the College offers two resources

1. New Part-Time Faculty Orientation trainings are held prior to each semester. The orientations cover many important topics that part-time faculty will need as a new instructor.  At each orientation session refreshments, a faculty “Welcome Bag” full of teaching supplies and a Part-Time Faculty Handbook will be distributed. In addition, new faculty will meet key personnel who work at the host campus, receive information and training on how to complete required paperwork, learn how to access the College technology resources and spend time exploring the new Part-Time Faculty website. 

To accommodate busy schedules, orientations are held at various campus locations. For more information contact your department or view a listing of orientations in LearnerWeb. This two hour training is highly recommended.
