How to Enable Cookies in a Web Browser


Internet Explorer 5.x
1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click the Custom Level tab.
4. Click Enable under “Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer”.
5. Click Enable under “Allow per-session cookies (not stored)”.

Internet Explorer 6.x
1. From the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2. From the Privacy tab, click Advanced.
3. To adjust the settings, click the checkbox for Override automatic cookie handling.
4. Click Accept under First Party Cookies and Third Party Cookies.
5. Click OK.

Firefox 1.5.x
1. Click on the Tools menu, then click Options.
2. Click on the Privacy Tab.
3. Then click on the cookies tab.
4. Check the "Allow sites to set Cookies" check box.
5. Save changes by clicking OK.

Netscape 7.x and 8.x
1. Click Edit on the Toolbar.
2. Click Preferences.
3. Click the Privacy and Security category; expand the list to show the subcategories.
4. Click Cookies.
5. Three options are displayed. Click Enable all cookies.
