Introduction

Welcome to the Fall 2008 Semester.

To facilitate your learning experience, CPCC has created several student technology services. These services include a personalized portal, computer labs, email, E-locker (network storage), and the online learning management systems called Blackboard and Moodle.

Access to any of these services requires a username and password, which at CPCC is called the Single Network Access Pass or "SNAP." You can visit http://snap.cpcc.edu to obtain your login credentials (credentials are available at the SNAP / CPCC Login site 24 hours after you register). For an overview of the student technical services, visit the SNAP / CPCC Login page.

If you are taking an e-learning course (online or telecourse), or if your face-to-face course has an online component, please access this orientation for detailed information including new procedures, orientation, and training schedules.

To be certain your home computer will allow you to successfully participate in an online class, review the suggested recommendations.

Students may also obtain assistance from facilitators who are located in open computer labs at any CPCC campus. For a listing of open computer labs and their location please visit:

For your convenience, the college provides a Technology Help Desk at (704) 330-5000 to assist students in activating their SNAP / CPCC Login account and accessing online student services.
