Windows Mobile 6.0 | Mobile Synchronization Setup Instructions

To setup your device to synchronize with CPCC's email system on your Windows Mobile device please follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1)Installing Activesync on the Windows Mobile device

  • Select Start

 

  • Select ActiveSync

 

  • Tap on the ActiveSync icon

 

  • Enter mobile.cpcc.edu within the Server Address field

 

 
Step 3) 

 
  • Enter your Network Username and Password

 

  • Enter cpcc.edu within the Domain field

 

  • Verify that checkbox for Save Password is checked

 

  • Select Next

 

 
Step 4) 

  • Under conflict resolution settings, select Keep the item on the server

 

  • Select Next

 

 
Step 5) 

  • On the following screen, you will be able to choose the items that you wish to sync with your Windows Mobile Device.

 

  • Select Finish

 

 
Step 6) 

  • If everything was entered correctly, you should see the Synchronizing screen at the right.
