Note: Student email lists become available 1 week before the first day of class.
CPCC student email provides automatic generation of class email lists. These lists are created from master registration lists, and are updated automatically. Student drop/adds and withdrawals are reflected in updates made to each list within 24 hours.
Important: To prevent abuse, this service is only available to College faculty using a CPCC email account. Only email originating from either an Outlook client on campus or the college webmail system will be routed to a class list. The sole purpose of class mailing lists is for instructors to communicate to their students about matters related to that particular class. These lists are not to be used for mass mailings.
For large group mailings to students with specific majors, listserv lists should be created. Messages to these lists are to be sent under guidelines approved by college cabinet. Contact the ITS Help Desk for assistance.
Tip: Sending an email to the class list will only address students in that section. You may want to send a CC: to yourself to track what has been sent.
