Faculty advisors are experts in their disciplines and knowledgeable about specific courses in their divisions, and in educational and career opportunities in their areas of concentration. •helps students with program planning, course selection, and scheduling;
•helps students develop, clarify and evaluate educational plans and goals;
•helps students identify and explore alternatives; and
•helps students assess consequences of decisions.
