Paul Santos - Associate Vice President Human Resources - (704) 330-6812

Department Head responsible for providing overall leadership and direction of the College's program of human resources, personnel services, performance appraisal, affirmative action, Federal and State compliance, and to ensure that assigned functions fulfill Federal, State, and College goals and objectives.

Kim Heffernan - Director-Compensation and Benefits - (704) 330-6672

Overall responsibility for management of the College's compensation and benefits programs. Provides technical guidance and assistance on compensation and benefit issues to Administration and is responsible for internal compensation equity. Reviews and conducts surveys of educational institutions and the Charlotte metropolitan area to determine the College's competitive position in compensation and employee benefits.

Kelly Natoli - Director-Recruitment and Retention - (704) 330-6878

Oversees the recruitment and retention of a competent and motivated staff of CPCC employees. Provides technical expertise to ensure that recruiting activities are conducted appropriately and effectively. Provides counsel and guidance to supervisors and employees in interpreting CPCC Policies and Procedures as well as Federal and State regulations.

Joanette West  - Insurance and Benefits Specialist - (704) 330-6759

Responsible for the daily administration of the College’s employee benefits program for both faculty and staff. Coordinate benefits workshops and the administration of long and short-term disability income payments. Also responsible for administration of the Shared Leave Program.

Cheryl Addison Raley - Human Resources Analyst - (704) 330-6741

Performs a variety of professional level tasks related to employment for the President’s Office, Facilities Services and the Instructional Units. Serves as HR’s liaison with the aforementioned Units. Also, conducts campus-wide training on various employment-related topics including: employment policies, the hiring process, classification and compensation.

Leon Matthews - Human Resources Analyst - (704) 330-6315

Performs a variety of professional level tasks related to employment for Enrollment and Student Services, Information Technology and Administrative Services. Serves as HR’s liason with the aforementioned Units. Conducts campus-wide training on various employment-related topics including employment policies, employment procedures and the full-time hiring process.

Sheila Clemons - Human Resources Analyst - (704) 330-6679

Performs a variety of professional level tasks related to employment for all Part-Time employees. Serves as HR’s liaison with all units regarding the employment of part-time personnel. Conducts campus-wide training on various employment-related topics including employment policies, employment procedures and the part-time hiring process.

Monica Montoya - Human Resources Technician II - (704) 330-6491

Responsible for a variety of complex tasks related to the employment of all Part-Time employees and the hiring process. Serves as HR's primary liaison with newly and rehired Part-Time employees.

Linda Anderson - Human Resources Technician II - (704) 330-6314

Responsible for full-time timesheets, leave accounting functions and department surveys and reports. Also responsible for employment verifications and requests for verification of prior service.

Carolyn Pence - Human Resources Technician II - (704) 330-6311

Responsible for Workers Compensation claims and the daily support of select employee benefits programs. Administers FMLA and Disability Plans. Maintains employee personnel files and acts as an assistant to the Insurance and Benefits Specialist.

Carol Hyde - Human Resources Technician I - (704) 330-6631

Performs a variety of standard clerical duties including answering and directing phone calls and visitors, filing, distributing forms, and preparing correspondence in support of the daily operations of the Human Resources Department.

Cindy Severt - Executive Secretary - (704) 330-6812

Performs a variety of administrative and secretarial tasks that are essential to the operations of the Human Resource department and serves as the primary administrative support role for the Associate Vice President of Human Resources.
