Position Classification
- Exempt or Non-Exempt Status
- Position Analysis Questionnaire (PAQ) A new position is defined as a position that is increasing the number of employees in the department or office. A Position Analysis Questionnaire is required to create a position and title that currently does not exist at the college. A PAQ summarizes the purpose for the position, indicates the duties, skills/qualifications requirements, reporting structure, impact on the institutional mission, level of contacts and physical requirements for the position.
- Position Reclassification (PAQ for an Existing Position) To reclassify an existing position, a PAQ is necessary to specify the changes in duties, skills/qualification requirements, reporting structure, physical requirements and/or other significant changes to the position.
