Scholarships are provided through the Central Piedmont Community College's Foundation and the generosity of industries, businesses, professional organizations, civic clubs, and individuals. A scholarship review team determines the recipients for those scholarships awarded by the College.

     Awards are non-monetary and are usually restricted to tuition assistance and certain fees and require the recipient to maintain a minimum GPA to continue the scholarship. Most scholarships are awarded for one academic year beginning with the Fall Semester.

     General Scholarship Applications are available in the Financial Aid office. You may also download it or fill it out online. They will be accepted and awarded to students meeting criteria set forth by donors.

     Awarded funds that are not used during the academic year are returned to the scholarship and do not carry over from year to year. 

     Scholarship recipients are encouraged to attend a New Student Orientation provided by CPCC prior to fall semester. Orientations may be attended in-person or online. For information on Orientations go to Orientations
