Jeff LaBarge Jeffrey LaBarge, CEC, is a Culinary Technology Co-Program Chair. A Certified Executive Chef, Jeff owned a restaurant in his native Tupper Lake, in upstate New York. A graduate of the famed Culinary Institute of America (CIA), Chef LaBarge also holds a degree in Hotel-Restaurant Management from the State University of New York at Morrisville. A winner of the National Teachers Award, he also served as research editor for the Arts and Science culinary textbook. At CPCC, Jeff has led students to win over 150 medals in culinary competitions over the past 18 years, more than any instructor in the southeast. Jeff has held culinary leadership positions with numerous companies, most notably the Walt Disney organization. He lives in the Charlotte area.
