Adult High School Diploma
STEPS TO GRADUATION
1. MEET WITH YOUR ADVISOR
You should meet with your faculty advisor prior to applying for graduation. They will review your education plan and determine your semester of graduation.
2. SUBMIT YOUR GRADUATION APPLICATION
You should submit an Adult High School Graduation Application to the Graduation Office during the established deadlines below. Graduation Applications are available in the Graduation Office (CH 120), at the Admissions Desk at any campus, or online at the link above.
Fall Graduates Apply in July
Spring Graduates Apply in November
Summer Graduates Apply in March
3. RECEIVE UPDATE FROM THE GRADUATION OFFICE
A Graduation Analyst will audit your records and notify you of your status by mail. If necessary, bring in any missing documentation. Graduation Analysts cannot perform this audit when you apply. If you are unsure of when you will graduate and need advisement, you must meet with your advisor.
4. MEET WITH GRADUATION ANALYST
A few weeks before the end of your final semester, you will receive a letter inviting you to make an appointment with your graduation analyst. A final review of your records will be done at this appointment. If everything is in order, you will be given permission to order your Adult High School diploma.
5. CONGRATULATIONS!
After completing all requirements, including successful completion of the final courses, a notation of your Adult High School diploma along with the date of graduation will be made on your CPCC transcript and the credential will be mailed to you. Information about when it will be mailed will be provided at the appointment.
CPCC holds one commencement ceremony each year in May. Graduates from the previous summer and fall, as well as current spring graduates, are invited to participate, although participation is not required. Information on ceremony details is mailed to graduates in April.
