    Gifts to the Foundation assist Central Piedmont Community College to fulfill its mission of providing innovative and comprehensive educational opportunities for students that advances their lifelong development and of strengthening the economic, social, and cultural life of the region. Gifts enable the College to provide high-quality, flexible pre-baccalaureate and career-focused programs and services which are accessible to a diverse student body. Gifts sustain the College’s commitment to teaching and learning excellence within the context of a supportive, nurturing environment.

    The following giving priorities are integral to the continued success of the College and its ability to serve current and future generations of students. Scholarships---support to assure access to educational opportunities for students with financial need.
    • Instructional Program--support to assure the quality of existing instructional programs and to develop new programs to respond to emerging needs.

    • Faculty--support to attract and retain outstanding faculty members and to provide for their ongoing professional development.
    • Annual Support--expendable gifts to support the operations of the College and to bridge the gap between state and tuition revenue and actual budget needs.
