TEACHERS' EDUCATION

Cato Corporation Scholarship for Future Teachers 
Eligibility criteria:Have financial need as determined by CPCC's Financial Aid Dept., High School graduate with a minimum HS GPA of 2.5 (also required to retain the scholarship for the 2nd year if applicable).
Curriculum criteria:Enroll in CPCC’s Education Pre-Major Program or Education 2+2 Articulation Agreement Program with UNCC.
Enroll in at least two courses (6 cr hrs) and up to four courses (12 cr hrs) per semester.
Other criteria:In addition to the CPCC scholarship application, students will need to submit a brief essay regarding the individuals’ interest in pursuing a teaching career.
