Purpose:To provide a non-monetary scholarship for the tuition, fees, and books for the short-term certificate programs designated as JumpStart

Criteria:Underemployed and unemployed persons, and persons desiring to change career fields or learn new skill. Students must enroll for the sixteen-week designated program or compressed eight-week program, if offered.
Renewal:The award cannot be renewed. However, if the student desires to continue at CPCC in the original program of study, they will be referred to other scholarship opportunities.
