Adult Student Scholarship
Purpose: A one-year non-monetary scholarship for adult students who have no or partial pell grant eligibility.
Allowable Fields of Study: Any diploma, certificate, or degree program as described in the CPCC catalog.

Criteria:
  • Applicant’s estimated family contribution (EFC#), determined upon the completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), should be 3000 or higher.

    3 - 8 $500.00
    9 - 12 1,000.00
  • Applicant meets all financial aid eligibility requirements.
  • Applicant meets financial aid satisfactory academic requirements.
Renewal: The scholarship is non-renewable. Students should apply for financial aid each school year. Prior semester recipients will receive first priority for renewing the scholarship as long as they continue to meet the eligibility criteria – they have not withdrawn from any courses and are maintaining a 2.0 GPA.
Process:
  • All applicants meeting the eligibility requirements of the scholarship will be considered.
  • One-half of the scholarship funding will be awarded in the fall semester, and one-half of the scholarship funding will be awarded in the spring semester.
  • The Financial Aid Office reserves the right to adjust the amount awarded to comply with federal financial aid regulations.
