The General Maintenance Department is under the direction of Scott Chandler.

The General Maintenance Department handles most of the routine building problems from minor building repairs, lighting problems, painting, floor repair, plumbing situations, relocating small items, assisting the senior technician with more complex building equipment repairs such as motor or fan motor replacement, assisting with fire equipment inspections, minor renovations to the building, assisting outside contractors with larger repairs. The General Maintenance Department consists of individuals capable of performing many different tasks within the building including the exterior and roof surfaces of the building. They have to learn different parts of various trades to be able to make repairs in a professional manner. Part of their job is to find a problem and fix it before any of the building occupants know there is a problem.
