LEAD

Welcome to the LEAD project web site. LEAD is a project based in Charlotte, NC at Central Piedmont Community College. The LEAD Team recognizes that certain barriers keep some ESL students out of traditional classrooms and that educational institutions are challenged to meet the needs of these students. The goal of the LEAD project is two-fold. First, we aim to meet these students at a DISTANCE. Then we want to encourage and support other ESOL practitioners by creating a venue for sharing these experiences.

The Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) English as a Second Language (ESL) Division's Learning English at a Distance Project (LEAD) presents a distance learning model, Crossroads Cafe Classroom.
