To qualify for participation in Technical Career Ladders, students must:

1) meet the testing requirements by taking the English language competency exam (CASAS)-
Room 2230, Harris Campus (formerly West Campus-3210 CPCC Harris Campus Drive)
2) fill out the college application. Some documents will be required.  North Carolina residency requirements,
3) make an appointment with a Technical Career Ladders advisor.
        -fill out the JumpStart application.
4) enroll at CPCC full-time for one semester, 16-24 weeks, or one year.
5) attend an orientation,
6)  commit to the course schedule for the partipating certificate program they choose,
7) and take an English Support Course while completing the certificate.

Testing is administered at Harris Campus. Contact us for location, dates and times of testing. All students must be tested before registering for any certificate. Testing and residency verification is necessary.
