EMS Methodology

This 40 hour course prepares the student to teach the adult learner. Characteristics of the adult learner are discussed as well as class presentation skills. These skills include learning styles, learning domains, diversity, lesson plans,ethics, testing strategies, and remediation. This class helps satisfy the requirements for Level 1 EMS instructor certification with the NC office of EMS. This class has both an online and classroom component, successful completion of both is required.
