Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) offers quality training for emergency medical personnel. Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are often the first responders to any emergency situation, making split second decisions that save people’s lives.

Our mission at CPCC is to provide the highest quality EMT and paramedic training, as well as continuing education training for EMS professionals

CPCC also offers students interested in a career in EMS the opportunity to earn an Associated in Applied Science degree in Emergency Medical Science.

In addition to the General Education core, the EMS curriculum program includes course work that will allow the students to earn their EMT and Paramedic certifications.

For EMS professionals who are already certified EMTs or paramedics, the college offers a bridging option where those certifications can be applied toward the degree requirements.
