Does Moodle software need to be installed on my computer?

No. Users with course materials in the Blackboard or Moodle systems do not need to install any special software. Online courses can be accessed from any computer with Internet access and a web browser. Moodle is viewed best using Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher, or the free FireFox web browser. Bear in mind that pages may display differently depending upon the specific web browser you are using.
