How do I Add a Header Graphic to my Course?
Login to your course
Turn Editing On
Go to top course header block
click on the edit summary icon
The editing window, Summary of topic 0, appears
Place cursor in editing window and select picture icon from shortcut toolbar
An Insert Image, file brower window appears
Click on the Browse button at the bottom of the window. Browse your computer to locate your saved image file.
Click on file name.
Click Open
Click upload
When you see the name of the image file in the file Browser window on the left, click on the title. The image will appear in the left Preview window.
The url will appear in the IMage URL at the top of the window
Type in an alt text description of the image.
Adjust layout as desired.
CLick OK.
THe image will appear in the editing window.
To adjust the image, click on the image. Small rectangular boxes will appear in the corner of the image. Grab a box with your cursor until it changes into a double-headed arrow. Drag to increase or degrease the size.
Save changes.
