How do I enroll an existing user account into my class?

From the Blackboard "My Institution" area:
  • Click on the course you are teaching as listed under the "My Courses" menu.
  • Once inside the course's Bb area, click on the gray "Control Panel" button on the left-hand menu.
  • Under "User Management", click on "Add Users".
  • The first option on the "Add Users" page will be "Enroll Existing User". Click on the "Enroll Existing User" link.
  • From the next page you will be able to search all Bb user accounts by last name or username.
  • Enter your search criteria (text) and click on the gray "Search" button.
  • From the results that are displayed, you can enter a check in the left-hand checkbox to select a user or users to enroll.
  • Once you have made you enrollment selection(s), click on the gray "Submit" button at the bottom of the page to enroll the user(s) into the Bb course.
  • After you have submitted, you should receive a confirmation page that states whether your submission to enroll was successful.
  • Click the gray "Ok" button on the right to return to the course's control panel.
