The Online Orientation

In this six-module orientation you will assess your personality attributes and technology skills, be introduced to the Learning Management Systems supported by CPCC (Blackboard and Moodle), and learn about the procedures and strategies that will help you succeed in the online environment.


How Does The Orientation Work?

These four modules are self-paced and are available to all students (potential and current). Overall, each module contains:
       - Lessons
       - Handouts/Tutorials
       - Assessment

These two modules are facilitated, distance learning hands-on orientation activities that will be available upon registering for an online class.  The instructor will present an overview of each lesson, what will be learned, and the importance of the learning experience.  The demonstration, guided and unguided practice strategies will be utilized in this online weeklong workshop.
