The Student Success grant is a pilot project designed to transition students completing ESL, GED, Adult High School, and Pathways to Employment classes into degree and certificate granting programs at CPCC.  
Students complete a “Moving on to College” course that addresses writing and computer skills, study and test-taking strategies, time management and goal-setting and meet with advisors from across the college to learn more about navigating the financial aid, assessment, and registration processes.  
The students have just completed the course component of the program and are preparing to choose and register for fall classes.  
The grant team will report results of this pilot program to the state and hopes to continue to offer it in future semesters.
