Central Piedmont Community College has a commitment to community involvement that extends far beyond the walls of the classroom.

The expansion of educational opportunities for all adults is the foundation of the College; our basic skills programs are designed to provide the necessary skills and confidence for successful employment and further education.  Career Services also assists those students looking to make a career transition from one occupation to another.

A commitment to the Community also means a commitment to the environment. The Futures Institute is a key player in our ongoing commitment to progressive initiatives and will be sponsoring events to commemorate Earth Day 2006.

A relatively recent addition to CPCC's community initiatives, the Service Learning program creates partnerships that enable civic-minded students to contribute to the community while enhancing their own growth and development.
