For times when “thank you” just isn’t enough – when a staff member went above and beyond the call of duty to complete a task or meet a goal – there’s the Spirit of Excellence Award.

The Spirit of Excellence Award recognizes valued employees—employees who were on the job day in and day out, adding the extra effort that helps provide the needed services for the Executive Vice President Unit. The award and recognition are not the end in themselves. Rather, it’s the exemplary service each award represents—vital services needed for the well being of Central Piedmont Community College.

We must pat our fellow employee on the back and nominate those individuals who have stood out in their job performance. Help us all by recognizing the best of our department. Excellence is our way of life . . . please call attention to your peers who set the example for others.

This award recognizes employees for outstanding customer service, best practices and unique contribution to the Executive Vice President Unit. Any member of the Executive Vice President Unit may nominate an employee for the award. The supervisor reviews the nomination form to confirm that the award is deserved.
