A+GD Student Organizations
ADAPT
Advertising Design and Printing Technologies
ADAPT is a collaborative club for students in both the Advertising + Graphic Design and Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology programs.
The club's purpose is to promote understanding and cooperation between two student groups who will be working closely together upon graduation. Activities include field trips to local printers and production shops, guest speakers from advertising and design firms, and participation in local graphic art industry events.
ADAPT meets on a weekly basis and is always looking for new and energetic members. Membership is open to any enrolled CPCC student who is interested in graphic communications.

AIGA
Students of A+GD are encouraged to join AIGA, the professional organization of designers. AIGA Charlotte, the local chapter, sponsors many events that are beneficial to students, including portfolio reviews, networking sessions and bringing in Famous Designers to speak.
CPCC students who join AIGA are also part of the CPCC student group, which meets regularly to attend local chapter meetings, as well as plan events for our school chapter.
